This page explains what Tramado keeps, why, on what legal basis and for how long, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain's Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). You need no account, name or email to use the site.

What the site keeps
- The sentences you type. At each pause in your typing, the sentence (links removed, up to 160 characters) is sent to the server to be read. The server keeps every sentence it reads, in lower case, with its reading and the date, so it need not ask again. It is not stored with your IP or anything that identifies you. Why: to compose the perfume you ask for. Legal basis: providing the service you request (GDPR art. 6.1.b). How long: not deleted automatically; kept while the site runs, unless you ask us to delete it.
- The reading, by TypeSafe. To read the sentence, the server sends it to the TypeSafe API (the Jev model), which acts as a processor. It receives only the sentence: not your IP or anything else about you. Legal basis: providing the service you request (GDPR art. 6.1.b).
- The perfumes you bottle. When you press "Bottle it", the perfume is saved: your sentence, the language, the notes, the intensity, whether it remixes another, whether it answers the question of the day, the date, and technical details of the reading (model, time and size). It is published on its own page, and shown in the gallery if the reading finds it suitable. Your IP and any identifier of yours are not stored. Why: to give you a page to share your perfume. Legal basis: providing the service you request (GDPR art. 6.1.b). How long: while the site runs; to have it deleted, send us its link.
- Limits per IP. To stop abuse, the server counts in memory how many reads, perfumes and events arrive per minute from each IP address. That count is never written to disk. Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting the service (GDPR art. 6.1.f). How long: deleted after 10 minutes without requests from that IP, and whenever the server restarts.
- Usage counts. The server notes when a perfume page is viewed or shared, a remix is started, or a link to a house or a similar perfume is clicked. Each note holds only the kind, the perfume and the time: no IP and no visitor identifier. It also keeps the daily total of reads, to control spending. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing which parts of the site work (GDPR art. 6.1.f). How long: while the site runs.
- Arrivals on the home page, Explore and the cases. Each time one of those pages is opened, the server notes which one, the language it is shown in, the time and, if your browser says so, only the domain of the page you came from (for example, google.com), never the full address. It does not note your IP, your browser or any identifier of yours, and it uses no cookies: so it counts pages opened, not people. Visits from recognised robots are not noted. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing how people reach the site (GDPR art. 6.1.f). How long: while the site runs.
- Shop links. "Buy at…" links pass through the server (the /go/ addresses), which notes the shop, the perfume on sale, the perfume or case you clicked from, the page language and the time, with no IP or identifier of yours, and sends you on to the shop. With an Awin affiliate link, the network receives only the code of the perfume or case you came from, to credit the sale; an Amazon link carries only our affiliate code. From then on you are on the shop's site: the shop and the affiliate network may set their own cookies, under their own policies. Shop links that carry no commission ("Search at…", "See it at…") also pass through the server (the /out/ addresses), which notes the shop, the perfume, the page you clicked from, the language and the time, with no IP or identifier of yours, and sends you to the same search or shop page. These links earn Tramado nothing.
- Affiliate sales. From the affiliate network's reports we keep, for each sale, the shop, the network's transaction number, the code of the perfume or case, the date, the amount, the commission, the currency and its status. The network does not give us your name or contact details, and we do not keep them. Legal basis: the legal duty to keep accounts (GDPR art. 6.1.c). How long: as long as tax law requires.
- Your shelf, in your browser. The perfumes you bottle or keep (up to 200) are remembered in your browser's local storage (localStorage), under the key "tramado.shelf". They are never sent to the server. This is needed for the feature you ask for, so it requires no consent (LSSI-CE art. 22.2). How long: until you clear this site's data in your browser.
- What the server reads and does not keep. Your browser's language, to pick the page language; its identifier (user agent), so robots are not counted as visits; and the address of the page you came from (referer), of which only the domain is kept, as explained above. If something fails, the error log records the address requested and the error, without your IP.
Who else sees your connection
- Cloudflare. The site reaches you through Cloudflare, which receives your IP and the technical details of each connection to deliver and protect the traffic, as a processor.
- Google Fonts. The typefaces load from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com): your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP and browser details. Legal basis: legitimate interest in showing the site in its typefaces (GDPR art. 6.1.f).
Google and Cloudflare are US companies certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising tools. It only uses your browser's local storage for your shelf, as explained above.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and portability of your data by writing to [email protected]. As the site keeps nothing that identifies you, tell us the perfume's link or the exact sentence. If you think we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
